Dining at my place

Craving something truly good, Czech and freshly cooked with love — but not another ordinary restaurant? Do you enjoy sharing a table with people who love good conversation, laughter and stories? Would you like to learn what life in the Czech Republic is really like — directly from locals, over a home-cooked meal? If you answered yes even once, you are in the right place. I invite you to sit at our table and choose from one of our carefully prepared multi-course menus — Traditional Bohemian, vegetarian or vegan, all inspired by Czech home cooking. Throughout the year, we also host themed dinners, including our much-loved Czech Christmas Eve menu, a tradition no Czech household would ever skip. Each course can be paired by my husband Petr with Czech beers or Moravian wines, and for the curious and adventurous, the evening often ends with a tasting of local fruit and nut spirits. Dinners are served at a shared table for up to 10 guests (private groups are welcome), and in summer, we dine on our quiet garden terrace, surrounded by greenery. This is not just dinner. It’s an evening of food, stories, connection — and a taste of Czech life as we live it. Come and taste it!

Foodwalks

Do you enjoy discovering a city on foot — slowly, with curiosity, good food and stories along the way? My food walks are an invitation to explore Prague beyond guidebooks and tourist menus. They are easy, relaxed walks, designed to be enjoyed by anyone who loves tasting, listening and experiencing a place through its flavors. Together, we visit carefully chosen spots and taste traditional Czech dishes, beloved pub appetizers, classic desserts, and local beers and wines — the kind of food and drinks that have shaped Czech everyday life for generations and are loved by thousands of people around the world. Each walk has its own mood and story: Where Prague Began takes us to one of the city’s most meaningful and atmospheric places. Old Prague Corners reveals hidden culinary gems right in the heart of the city. Dan Brown’s Secret Prague, inspired by his newest novel The Secret of Secrets, invites you to see Prague through mystery, symbols and hidden layers. These walks are not about rushing from stop to stop. They are about tasting, sharing, asking questions and connecting — with Prague, with Czech culture, and with each other. Come hungry. Leave with new flavors, stories — and a deeper feeling for this city.

Day Trips & Slow Adventures

Prague is beautiful — but the Czech Republic has so much more to offer beyond its capital. These day trips are an invitation to step outside the city, slow down, and discover places where history, nature, good food and quiet moments come together in ways most visitors never experience. Instead of large tour buses and crowded highlights, we travel in small groups or privately, by car or train, with time to explore, breathe and truly be present. For a day — or sometimes longer — you become less of a visitor and more of a local. Each journey has its own character: A full-day escape to Tábor, rich in history, underground passages and honest local cuisine. A thoughtful visit to Terezín, combining reflection on its dark past with moments of calm by the river — including gentle meditation, chi-kung practice and time in a spa and natur sauna setting. A peaceful retreat to Řehenice yard, surrounded by nature and animals, with options for private sauna, long walks, and even overnight stays in a lookout hide. Throughout all these journeys, we approach places and stories with respect, sensitivity and space for reflection, especially where history carries difficult or painful layers. What connects these experiences is a shared intention: to explore lesser-known places, enjoy thoughtfully prepared food, and create space for reflection, rest and renewal. These are not standard excursions. They are carefully curated days filled with meaningful moments — from quiet riverside pauses and nature walks to hidden town stories, cultural encounters and experiences you won’t find in guidebooks. If you’re curious to see the Czech Republic beyond the obvious, I invite you to come along.
